Series Information

There will be two age categories for the race series. The Open class will be ages 39 and under and Masters will be 40 and up. Series awards are given to the top three men and women in both the Masters and Open age groups. NOTE: 3 mile Fun Run/Walk is not included in the Series points.

Points are given out as follows:
For every race...
Open/Masters male & female 1st place finishers receive 10 points
Open/Master male & female 2nd place finishers receive 9 points 
Open/Masters male & female 3rd place finishers receive 8 points
and so on until...
Open/Masters male & female 10th place finishers receive 1 point

Points are tallied as follows:
By the sixth race all results will be tallied and prizes will be award to the top three men and women in both Masters and Open age groups. All awards will be given out after the Gore Grind Race, October 12, 2008. If winners are not in attendance than prizes will be mailed to participants.
